ODM Leader Raila Odinga has hired former permanent secretary for Special Projects in the Grand Coalition government to handle administration in his office.

The ODM Leader picked Andrew Mondoh to be his administrative assistant with the expanded portfolio of managing his political office based at Nairobi’s Capitol Hill.

Mondoh is the first in a long list of ex-civil servants the ODM Leader is lining up in what is shaping up to be his think tank ahead of the 2017 elections.

The soft-spoken technocrat are among tens of other senior Kibaki-Raila era technocrats tossed out of government with the coming to power of President Uhuru and his Deputy William Samoei Ruto.

Rumour has it that the ODM leader has twice met former permanent secretary Francis Kimemia though the content of their meetings remain closely guarded.

At Orange House, Odinga appointed his long time political strategist Oduor Ong’wen to become the Executive Director after the exit of former Kipkelion MP Magerer Langat.

At Okoa Kenya secretariat, Eng. Carey Orege, also a former PS, heads the outfit assisted by George Mboya, in charge of logistics. Odinga’s expanded team also includes lawyer Paul Mwangi, handling his legal matters.
